    Brad Nestle Reverse Cocker

This was a Craigslist find..... It came apart fairly easy and will take a bit of cleanup....
    - The grip frame mounting screws needed some heat to get them to come out, one needed a slot cut as the hex was rounded out.
    - The bolts mounting the drop to the frame also needed some heat.
    - Everything else came apart with no issues.
    - The low pressure hoses were brittle.
    - Total weight: 5-pounds, 8-ounces.
    - The Apocalypse tank reg weighed 1-pound, 8-ounces by itself.

Craigslist photo ( I forgot to take a full view pix...doh):

      Cleaned and started to reassemble.......

      - LPR seems to be working...
      - replaced the valve, cup seal material was cracked, new one seals fine.
      - had to double up on the vasa to body orings. When the relief for the 3-way was cut it impacted the oring groove. I doubled up on the orings (one inside the other) to put more pressure on the outer one to seal the cut. Seems to have worked, it was leaking beforehand.

      - replaced the 3-way orings
      - needless to say, the AA HPR will need some work to get it apart for a rebuild.
      - waiting on more low pressure hose to be able to test further.

        Update:
        - Disasembled
        - Cleaned
        - Replaced bolt orings
        - Replaced the switch orings, used 003, as 002 was too small
        - Replaced the valve guide and cupseal, the original seal was cracked, used a similar stock WGP valve.
        - Replaced the Rock piston oring
        - Replaced all lpr hose
        - Replaced front block orings
        - Set IVG all the way out
        - Used a CP HPR for testing, set to 400psi initially
        - PWR barrel with a .677 insert to match my reballs
        - Reassembled using everything else that came with it
        - Set initial timing: backblock position, cocking rod length, bolt clearance, timing rod length

        Results:
        - HPA tank at 750psi output
        - Very slight leak at the lpr barb
        - No other leaks
        - Timing rod adjustment for proper cycling

Time to dig out the chrono and see if it will shoot at field speeds and cycle reliably.

        Results:
        - Cycles fine, not the fastest Autococker but reliable.
        - The gun is shooting between 280-285 FPS, reliably. With the HPR set at 400psi, and the IVG adjusted all the way out.....
        - Crazy stuff.......

        Things to do;
        - Fix the leak at the LPR barb
        - Source a permanent HPR for it.... The Air America it came with will need some work to get apart...

        I'm happy with it......

Super cool. Reminds me of the sterling semi's in some ways. I recall my first cocker was around 8 lbs with tank and hopper lol. The one I have now might be half that lol.

What’s the intent behind reversing an autococker?

I love it when you just randomly set a pressure, randomly set the IVG, and it chrono's perfect.

To make the gun feel smaller.
