Half block hammer slot cut + CCM hammer

When milling a body for half block and cutting the hammer slot, does it need to be cut a little longer to be able to use a CCM half block hammer?

If no one can answer I can get a picture of my halfback that ran a CCM half block hammer. It's in pieces at the moment because I borrowed the valve to test for another project.

Cool thanks. And if you can measure the slot length! I can compare that to the body I have coming.

I saw plans for half block milling and it looked like they were 2 different cut lengths for the hammer slot, WGP and CCM.

yes it is cut longer than a wgp halfblock hammer slot.

Here's what I was looking at, but I assume the body I have on the way will need the slot extended.
