    Necessity of Vice Pressure Tester?

I have a Vice coming in the mail. I'm wondering how much need there is for a pressure tester since it lacks gauges?
    Photo for reference.
    Thanks

It for sure helps setting the lpr pressures. I ended up shoving a length of macro in there with a gauge on it for my protege. You have to kind of hold it in, but it worked fine for me.

Beautiful Vice! I had one back in the day, but I didn’t have a tester. I prefer them, though, and have one for the HPRs on my son’s Etek 2s and one for his Etha 2s. If you’re a tinkerer and you can find the pressure tester, it’d be a neat accessory to have and it may help the resale slightly, too.

Indeed like a good tinkering. I'll try to source one. Thanks

If I am correct in remembering that the vice is a 5th gen intimidator, blast legacy has some pressure testers in stock. In my experience, the owner of that site is kind of all over the place, but they ship eventually.

FYI - I emailed them to see if they had those pressure testers in stock and they responded quickly saying they do have them. Good luck!

Thanks for doing the hard work for me. I'm waiting to see if it has 2c or 4c eyes installed. The Flory board that is included will only work with 2c.

      Is it required ? No.

Is it nice to know what LPR pressure is if things get wonky? Yes, but just because you can eliminate certain issues faster.
