You used to be able to get rainmakers close to or under $100. Everything else excluding the really old 80s stuff were like always $50 or less.

That was me, I bought it. Absolutely it was a little (kind of a lot) over priced. But I took the gamble, I couldn't say the last time I saw one come up anywhere. But let me tell you, out of the packaging...the body, grip, trigger and frame, were all completely spotless. The barrel has a few light scratches. But the body is practically NIB condition, blew my mind. I slapped a 12g adapter and a hand full of balls in, shot flawlessly (for a Raptor). Wiped it off, dropped it in a soft case, and its been put away ever since. I can't bring myself to play with it considering how great of shape it's in. I'll take my Xtreme out for play if the situation arises...and bring the LTD for eye candy lol.

Right! It upsets me a little that the market is so scarce on these older guys. There's only a few of us keeping the demand (and prices) high-ish. Finding them In good condition is getting harder to come by. I see greens and silvers all day being posted in beat condition...but only 2 LTDs in the last year (that I was lucky enough to win both) and 1 Xtreme that I was also luck enough to get and it's only a 7/10.

Sure they aren't bees knees of shooters or reliability but in my opinion they are beautiful markers.
