Freshman rebuild

So I had my oldest son (8yo) rebuild a paintball gun for the first time. We tore down and fully rebuilt (sans cup seal) a stingray.

Very proud of him. He took an interest in doing it (mostly because he was allowed to shoot it after) but actually was eager to help.
It was a great opportunity to talk through gun safety too. Naturally the stingray aired right up and cycled great! It was also a great opportunity to jot down all the oring sizes.

He really wants to go play with me but has to be 10. But I would like to surprise him sometime this summer and take him to play 50 cal. He only needs to be 8. Unfortunately I need to get a group together - no walk on 50 cal games around here.

Hopefully you already know this but if your kid has an interest in something. ENCOURAGE THAT S***

and be so grateful that it something you both enjoy. Go and have the time of your lives together and cherish every moment of it. Your kid will infinitely appreciate it in the future.

Might need valve work. Pictures show the seller was dry firing it. Poor eagle works barrel, who knows the condition inside it. But for an ex rental the body looks great.

As much as I want a raptor, I would rather him have a red spyder or illustrator. They are definitely a bit less finicky. But we can talk about that when we get together.
