    New loot!

A few days ago, Meow posted an EBay auction for a Raptor Xtreme that disappeared in a span of a couple of hours. I had reached out to the seller and it turns out it's the owner of P&L paintball in Bridgewater, MA. One of his refs is liquidating his Brass Eagle collection. Naturally, I bought everything Stingray I with a commando kit, Eagle 68. Both brand new in boxes, so I bet that Raptor Xtreme also was mint.

Fascinating part is that they were both made in Canada, but the box marks the BE shipping address as Arkansas. Were those the Daisy years?

Nice grab. Heard the eagle pistols were sometimes hard to get cycling but im sure someone on here knows them. Awesome bottomline settup on the stingray 1, and i think i see a back plate for a air bottle stock setup.

That's right! I also snagged a BE 9 OZ and hopper, so I'm all set. That P&L field is apparently one of the best in the Northeast and I didn't even know about it, I'm about a half hour away.

I'm planning not to use the Eagle directly, I want to cast it's brittle plastic shell in aluminum bronze.

Figured. i knew they had bad shells and tended to fall apart just from shooting.

They violently disassembled. Are you the one selling the Eagle holster on EBay?

Nope im banned from selling on eBay currently. I sold a couple items awhile back. Ebay asked for its cut, i gave them the finger and so no more selling for me. Lol

I think there was a Brass Eagle plant in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada for a number of years. It's possible some of that stuff was made there.
And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

The Eagle is such a funky design. I had three pass through my hands in short order but was never brave enough to gas one up. They struck me as being an odd crossbreed between a Stingray and a Splatmaster.

I took some pictures of one disassembled but this would have been about a decade ago. If anyone is able, thy should re-post similar images.

I'm almost entirely positive that it was made in the Derry Rd plant in Mississauga (I grew up there.

At some point I'll do a detailed cleaning of both.

I bought the Eagle 68 holster that was on EBay and some other doodads from the same seller.
