    BE Poison

I remember seeing and playing against people with these in the 90s. I was using a PGP most of the time and though oh crap. Never got the chance to shoot one, even now...no paint!

Took it all apart but for the valve (no tool) and gave it a good bath. This was dirty inside, probably hasn't been used in at least a decade. Wasn't bound up though so everything came out ok.

I cleaned up the bolt and hammer so they were smooth and lubed everything up. Once back together the bolt and hammer were moving nicely. Put some air to it and it sealed right up nicely.

    Very nice.
I had one for a couple years. Loud & kicky. Also struggled to get over 260fps. But it was fun & got some looks.

Trying to figure out where to hold this thing in the front. That side linkage takes up a lot of room.

No, I was thinking more of an aluminum foregrip mounted to the bottom receiver. Drill and tap a mounting hole into the gun. Somewhere near the front, but not to interfere with the detent. There is enough flat space there that maybe an Automag foregrip might work. Although it would look better with one that has matching horizontal lines.

An option could be an A5 foregrip. It has the horizontal lines at the bottom. The older style that doesn't have the forward finger guard. Or could tap a couple small holes and mount a small rail in that front section, then there's lots of grip options.

wthomas333 I know. I was just tossing out another option. I don’t know what Red is able to do or what tools he’s got. Didn’t word my comment properly.

This is just a quick mock up of a Lukes Automag grip I had sitting around. So I think it would be pretty easy to add a foregrip of some kind. Personally I would like to get a 3/4” diameter brass foregrip with the horizontal lines milled into it.

Looks good, I like the black as it keeps the bottom half one color. A brass bolt in place of the stainless one would be nice though.

Well, I added a Magpul foregrip to my Poison. I Tapped two holes, the front hole is the detent hole bored trough then tapped. It makes it much easier to hold.

That is really great and gives me hope for mine.

I can't figure out how to seal mine. Leak down the barrel. Do I need CO2? I've never got it to seal or shoot. It was passed down to me so I know nothing.

Sounds like you need to get a valve tool and get a look at the cup seal. Mine leaks down the barrel until the tank is fully seated, then it seals up nicely.
    Working...
