Brass Eagle Spyder clone finger detents

I got a bunch of shitty Spyder clones in a Goodwill auction that included what I actually wanted. All were complete crap, but a Brass Eagle Avenger 1 was in good enough shape that I couldnt throw it out. As I am a masochist, I made a new bolt for it, and just finished making detents for it. If anyone needs this style of detent, let me know and I will send you some.

Those look like 98 custom detents. They sit in the bottom and not the side.

Its very similar in the finger. They are an entirely different shape in the block. It has a small extension on the bottom that locks into the detent cover. There was a JT Stealth in that batch that used the same detent, so I know Brass Eagle wasnt the only one using them.

JT, VL and Brass Eagle are the same or part of the same Company. They use a lot of the same parts. The Avenger has almost all interchangeable parts with the entire VL line. The only variation is the top cock versus side cock models. You can swap parts between the various top cock models and the various side cock models. They all use the same valve, poppet, ball detent and trigger frames. They use 015 O-rings for the everything in the marker, Valve, plugs, bolt and hammer.

It is this part. The original allowed the ball to roll forward 1/4", which is a negative trait. I positioned my finger to stop the ball at the forward point of the drop diameter.

I'll buy some. Looks like it would work in the thumper better than cutting the tipmann detents.
