I had a Sar12c for a spell. Been a minute. I liked handloading the bolt action and it worked well with the old 6+6 mags too. I tried the semi engine with blackjack mags, but always had issues with flipped rounds. Seemed all the newer mags had feeding issues. A few guys on the Facebook owners group came up with mag and feeding fixes. Some nipple shaving, magwell sanding etc, but with different degrees of success and at the Sar’s price point I felt those things should work flawless from the start. Ultimately let the whole setup go. I believe there is another new mag since the blackjacks, so maybe they’ve finally fixed the feeding issue. Customer service was always super slow too. Spent months waiting for a parts kit ordered from their site, and when it finally arrived it was missing the part it said it contained that I had ordered it for in the first place. So like I said it’s been a few. If they’ve fixed the issues in that time great, otherwise a bull pup body kit is just a different shape of doorstop.

A friend bought the first one when they came out (before they had semi kits and different models). I played with it for several days before I decided to get an SSR.
It shot great, but it was a big heavy and the mags are huge. I don't remember any reliably issue while I played with it, but he started having some repeated leaks not too long after and he eventually sold it.
Their scope are absolutely amazing and unrivaled, and their barrels are great (but there is cheaper for the same performance put there).
PS: The ability to use 12g was a big part of what made me go SSR instead of SAR12.Love my brass ... Love my SSR ... Hard choices ...
