CCI Revolution Detent Mod

Does anyone have a picture of their CCI Revolution with the Autococker detent mod? Or other detent mod?

Totally missed the revolution part lol, cocker detent are definitely the way to go for the revolution.

Breech was drilled and tapped for cocker detents by the man himself, Mike Cassidy, at my request. One on each side. They are centered vertically, and just front of center on the feed port. These prevent most double feeds, but super tiny paint can still sneak by. Running a reverse stock class feed eliminates the need for detents.

Thanks I'll see how brave/lucky I feel. That looks a lot scarier than just drilling for Spyder detents.

If you go for it, make sure you start with a small drill bit and work your way up to size bit by bit. You could always send it out to get drilled and tapped if you’re not feeling lucky

Lol. I'm too cheap. Especially since I snapped my favorite surfboard this summer and need to get a new one.

Revisiting this as my Revo will need surgery before a big game next month.

Are cocker detents the current favorite? Impulse/ shocker are basically the same thing with different threads, right?

Has anyone tried wire? Spyder nubbins?

The machining should be straightforward - I'm decent at the small stuff - but measure twice, cut once and all that. A little scary that the first time I plan to use it is a 2-day event. Definitely bringing a backup Phantom or two, just in case it doesn't like the paint or something.
