Installed my phrameworks trigger. And I filed the feed neck enough to let the aluminum feed sit flat to the body. Fresh cup seals, silver valve spring, silver hammer spring. Icd lever changer is holding air for the time being.4 PhotosComment

ZaDeer was gracious enough to hook me up with a clear pump handle for my rig. I still have a leaky icd lever changer, and I may send it in for asp detents.
I cant hit the broad side of a barn with it. Played one game and was everywhere.

I find with how lightweight the phantom is a stock really helps my aim. Pistol setups I agree it’s instinctive shooting works better for me than trying to aim and drop shots on people. -
I’ve gone back and forth on the use of stocks. I used to swear by them and only played with an L-stocked VSC…..until I got my hands on a dropout set up, and boy did it make me do some real thinking….
I agree, “pistol” set ups fire instinctively and aiming is useless after a certain distance, usually because I’m running a shorter barrel so I’m lobbing ‘em at range with hopes and dreams, better if I toss a longer barrel on, but more or less running “pistol” means shooting by feel not really shooting by aim.
Now, with a proper L stock (I’ve got long arms) and a vsc on a mid-long range field I used to take scalps and hang them by the dozens every outing. That was aiming, and timing, because you did have to hit the bastards when they were not behind a bunker…..my favorite thing though was nailing folks with their ass dangling out the backside of the bunker….easy money with those nice round targets to aim for while they think they are tucked in safely.Last edited by Phantom1313; 02-23-2026, 10:07 PM.
