Back in 2018, a friend of mine asked me to repair a Phuzzard modded phantom he got from Cockerpunk. Around that time I had just bought an R7 that had strangely come with Carter Boxgun parts on it. I took of the Boxgun parts and jokingly tried slapping them on the Phuzzard body, which happened to be a ASP Roundhead. The darn thing went together! I knew there already one out there that I saw on the old Duckslide page so I knew I could probably put it together. However, due to the differences in breech sizes, the gun wouldn't cock because the pump was binding. My teammates and I tried all kinds of ways to get it to work but we couldn't get the feed to stay on right without making the pump bind. It sat on the side while I looked for more answers and did other projects and bought other markers. Then I got in touch with RedneckSniper and asked him if he could take a look at it.
The feed had some mean dings in it and the front sight had been lost, so I asked him to chop a whole layer off the top and slap a picatinny rail on it. I also asked him to help me stick in some Truglo fiber optic handgun sights onto the rail, for fun. I also sent him a 12 in Dual Spiral BOA barrel to use in the Phoxgun. Bobbed a phantom valve to make it flush and added a gauge hole to the back. He took all my requests and gave it a ton of effort and it came out better than expected. He also added on a insane barrel snub as well as new thumbscrews because he's the man!
While doing all that I was gathering parts for this build. I got a brand new RTR trigger frame and dug out a spare CCM 86 frame. Then I contacted Old Dirty Modder here on MCB and hit him up for some super custom metal 86 panels. He blew it out of the park!
With those in hand, I threw in a fluted Phantom hammer, a custom Japanese made valve spring and some colored 90 degree nuts as well as some hose. Then I called a teammate 808Snek to help me with the design idea I had for this since I started the project. I wanted to make it look like a Evangelion EVA. I took a week or two but he helped me make a great design for ano colors using the lines of the marker and my ideas. So then it got flown to Caustic Customs with the design! After some back and forth about how things would work and adjustments to some of the design, I waited till today for it to come back to me! Here's a few pictures of the build. Enjoy!
