    Hopper + Right Feed Body

So I was looking at my Phantom last night. With the right-feed, I know I would need some sort of elbow to mount a small hopper like a JOLO.

However, since I have a stock class body with the single screw in the front, I have no "stump" to mount the elbow to.

So what I would need, is a bolt-on, smooth feedneck "stump" to mount the elbow onto. However, all the bolt-on feedneck adapters are either female threaded for a clamping feedneck, or have the feedneck built in.

Bet bet I think, would be to just buy a vert-feed body, or a right-feed body with the stump on it already, and swap them out, as I can't seem to find the bolt-on stump that I'd need.

Thoughts? Or did I miss something?

If I'm understanding correctly, you have an offset right stock class body and you'd like to run it with a hopper? The closest thing I can think of that would work is either get REALLY lucky and find a CCM right feed feedneck or try to find somewhere that was a old Spyder feedneck stub (one of the 2 hole varieties).

Something like that may work. I don't know if the Phantom offset is the same as most right feed guns so your hopper may not sit vertical, but depending on which way it leans that may be a feature.

correct, a right-feed stock class body, and trying to figure out how to run a JOLO.

The other downside is that some of those Spyder style feednecks aren't a direct matchup as far as mounting hole/feed hole are concerned, but opening up the feedneck a little wouldn't take much work.

If there isn't a direct mount option, I'll probably just get a new body. VSC bodies are only $50 for a new one. Just figured I'd ask as I couldn't find the part I was looking for.

I don't plan on running a JOLO, but having the option would be really cool

That's for a vertical stock class body. I have a right-offset stock class body.

So it is , I honestly did not read the entire post.

I've often wondered why there aren't hoppers designed specifically for right feed, with the neck coming out of the hopper already at an angle. It seems like part of the beauty of the phantom would be its ability to easily swap out bodies, or since the JOLO is 3D printed anyways, it seems like a 3D printed adapter would be the way to go, maybe paintball DNA or someone else would be able to produce something for it.

A Jolo that mounts directly to right/power feed has been on the docket for a while. I'll get to designing one eventually!

You can probably sell that RH feed for a decent chunk and get enough for a center feed and most of the Stock Class adapter.

If you go that route you could also look into a round head body from ASP (a little pricier, but detent modded and autococker threaded)

I also have a center feed detent modded body I could be convinced to part with…

For starters they’re getting hard to find…the rare and bizarre always fetch more $$

I think the rest has to do with the way people sight down the marker.

When I play with my phantom, I don’t hold it upright, I rotate the marker about 30*-45*. The side feed (LH for me) would put that tube across the new “top” of the marker for me. Not sure if that’s everyone, but I’m gonna go with it and fly by the seat of my pants!!

I’m sure plenty of more people will chime in with much more accurate information.

So I take it you're a southpaw? If I rotate the market counter clockwise, toward the center of my body, the feed tube is over the top on my right-feed. I'm right handed.

I did notice this when I was messing the phantom tonight, and thought it was kinda neat how it worked out.

ID:	231289 I'm a lefty also and like the rt offset. Here is the setup I ran for use with a Winchester hopper. Low profile but nice sight picture with left eye dominate.
Granted this is an open class body.
