Left/Right offset stock class ASP Roundhead bodies - interest thread!

Well, maybe.

First I need y'alls input.

I've been in touch with ASP/Have Blue/Michael for a long while now pestering him about making a run of left offset stock class ASP Roundhead bodies. I was reminded about them today in an unrelated thread so I decided to drop him a line and here was his response:

Thanks for the reminder! I think I'm getting low on the 'standard' Roundheads, so maybe come summertime I can start pondering a run of offsets.

Unfortunately I haven't checked into MCB in way too long - what are people looking for? Standard right offset? Any lefties? (Each variation would be a separate part number/production run with its own setup charges and such, so minimizing variations is key).

So I'd like the hive's feedback. Would you be interested in one? Would you like left or right? How many?

This is NOT a pre-order thread, and I won't hold anybody to anything. I'm just gathering data for ASP to hopefully encourage him to make a run.

I'm unlikely to buy another roundhead (because I have one), but I think this is a terrific idea!
Right offset is my favorite.

Right offset for those who want to keep it stock class. Left offset for those who are gonna take it and cut it to make a FSR bolt action.

Actually I'm looking for a left offset because I like sighting directly down the barrel. I plan on keeping mine totally SC. I have a Phantom-style left offset feed on my Super Stocker and it has made aiming feel so much more natural to me than any other type of feed.

Oh that's fair, I just assumed most people wanted RF for stock class. Point being that I can certainly see both types getting used on different builds. If he could just keep doing runs of all 3, we'd be golden!

I would take a left feed for bolt action FS reasons.

PS: my project went in a different direction, count me out Of the list (I got a center feed on the way 👍)

I can't say 100%, but I would imagine they would be the same retail price as the center feed Roundhead bodies - $95.

I would totally buy 2 Left feeds. One for SC and one for FSR.
