What's the prevailing reason for a left vs right? I want one, but don't know which to get when they are available. If it has hardliners, do I absolutely need right?

Dominant side aiming. Som people want left some want right some center. I want a left and right because eventually I want to build a double barrel phantom and I want the gap down the middle to aim so the Stock Class feeds don’t get in the way.

I THINK the hardline will still fit regardless. I have a CCI RFSC offset body and I can check. I'm heavily right side dominant so I like a left offset feed so I can sight directly down the barrel.

I would image being a righty, filling a feed on the left would be best. But now I've just thought, what am I going to do with my ghost ring?

For a right hander a right feed or right offset feed is appropriate. I thought I was all in on the offset right feed but it turns out I don’t like how it makes my left hand shooting even more awkward so I’m a center stock class guy again.

I was also using the right offset preference as a way to resist collecting cool anodized earlier phantoms

26FEB2023 – The Roundhead returns! Left offset as well as standard SC is now available in black or unanodized. Unfortunately, our costs have gone up quite significantly, so we’ve had to increase pricing accordingly.

Hopefully Jonnydread has snagged his already.

Update on right offset SC Roundheads from Have Blue:

• Right offset SC Roundheads might still come in the future, but I'm a lot less certain of that right now. This run of Roundheads was significantly more expensive than before, and I'm likely to be carrying a credit card balance for a few months as a result. Not sure if I'd be able to afford future runs without taking pre-orders (and I hate the idea of doing pre-orders after having been burned on many of them myself), but financially that may be the only way to make future runs happen.
