    ASP mod

Anyone know what the turn around time is for having the ASP detent mod done? I sent a body in a while ago and haven't heard back. Figured I would at least see what the usual time frame is before I waste the guys time with emails that he then has to respond to.... With time that could be better spent filling orders for people ya know?

When did you send yours in? Mine was just delivered to ASP this Thursday, but I sent it in with the expectation of not having it back for at least a couple months.

I’ve had 5 bodies done by ASP (2 groups of 2 and 1 of 1).

On average it took ~ 4-5weeks.

If I remember it correctly, Blue works a FT job and does this stuff in his spare time/weekends and doesn’t have much time to communicate.

When I sent my first pair out, a member on here told me to “just mail it out and wait, it WILL just show up in the mail one day”

They all did, even in the heat of COVID (those two took the longest ~ 5 weeks)

Wait just long enough for l doubt to enter your mind that you’ll never see it again, and it’ll show up a week later.

I second what JeepDVLZ45 said. It took over ~ 4 1/2 weeks just to have him mail out my ASP Roundhead Body that he had in stock. He’s got a full-time job and ASP is a “side gig” for him so he gets to it when he’s able. Expect to be very patient with your order.

It’s worth the wait. It’s the best mod you can do to a phantom.

Like others have said, absolutely worth the wait. I had two bodies done last year and they took about 2 weeks so with shipping times it was around a month.

Okay, it's been at his shop for just over 4 weeks now. Thanks for the estimates on time lines! I knew it wasn't a full time job him, and I also work with varying time lines for customers and hate it people bother me about it. So I figured I would bother all of you instead lol.

I've only got two phantom bodies, so I picked one to send and when it comes back, I'm sending the other one... So dibs on my place in line!

Lol I have 5 bodies that I need done. Just need to get around to stripping them down to send out. It’s just been easier swapping in a round head body. But I want to get all of my Acid wash collection detent modified.

Heheheh, some of you guys think 4-5 weeks is a long turnaround time, lol cute 😁 😉

Seriously, though, I will add to the chorus that HaveBlue is solid

Very solid, indeed. The address you send your bodies to is a home address, so be patient. I know it hurts to be without your Phantom complete for so long. I felt the same pain, but man was it worth the wait. All my Phantoms have the ASP mod now.

It arrived today! Along with a hpa 12g adapter from RTR. I was planning on staying home tonight, but looks like I'm heading up to my local field for Mechanical/magfed night! A 5 week wait when all is said and done. I will be sending in my other body now that I can reassemble this one!
