Interest - Phantom barrel to Autococker marker iFit adapter?

    Anyone want these?

They'd be like the RTR adapter allowing a Phantom barrel on your cocker, ULE, Emek, Illusion, CCM, etc... but with iFit inserts inside.

Price would probably be $35-$40 each, black or raw.

I think it's worth running, and it could be a month or less since I've done the homework in the past. Just want to know if it's 5 people interested (in which case it would be more expensive) or 150 or some reasonable number like 20.

Vote yes if you want one... don't vote if you don't.

I'd prefer a small bore with wedgit to an insert

Just to make sure i understand you are saying that this fitting would go into an autococker threaded marker (Invert Mini) and we would be able to thread a phantom barrel on it? Not the inverse which Techt already makes.

Correct! Someone asked if RTR still makes them, someone else said not anymore... and I personally want to put an iFit on everything since why not?

If these get made it'll be the best $170 I've ever spent.

Ah, gotcha. I just buy a .675 and call it a day with the paint around here. And I have both 4 inserts, and 4 extra Phantom barrels, because MCB.

Talk to me before you order a ifit kit. I have a couple of them.

Even if they were like a .681 bore that would be good.

Honestly, I don't trust my shop to get a good surface finish without lots of handholding, so I think there's less risk using inserts. But if a .681 with a wedgit is the preference I can follow up and see how they feel about honing and dimpling.

Edit: added a poll choice. But I retain veto power based on pricing.

im down for any version u decide. i think a small bore with wedgit will create more breaks though, think u would have to do either separately. either a small bore (681) or a wedgit with a larger bore

I figured machining wise just boreing it a lil smaller would be easier. I think new CCI barrels are like a .682-.683 ish range. I can check when I get home.

the PHD cocker barrels were .681 you could always use a cbore I guess to.

I think that an 8 inch on the emek with an Ifit insert that matched the barrel bore would be a great fit. Had a freaked stock barrel, currently running a freaked Dye Boomstick 12", still feels slightly long on the emek.

Not a ton of responses to this eh. Let me know if you decide to go through with it. I will gladly pick one up.

Yeah... typically $500 to turn on a machine, so it's right on the edge. Got some life stuff coming up so I don't want to be saddled with unsold parts and a big bill.

5 more would be worth it.

Forgive the post, but I Love that putting Phantom barrels on autococker threaded markers is a thing.

As a primarily Phantom owner and player, I salute you!

I no longer own any A/C threaded markers(hence no vote made). But,.....

I am patiently waiting for someone to use this barrel adapter, on a ASP roundhead phantom body. 😂

I kind of did this, mainly to keep track of my RTR adapter, but also because I found it amusing.
