I just sent a right offset phantom body off to get detent modded by ASP and was curious what the typical turn around time was? I'm sure many of you guys have had it done!
Common question. When he has the time. Could be a week. Could be 6. It will just magically appear one day and be a pleasant surprise after forgetting about it.
I’ve sent out…6 or so bodies to be detent modded over the past couple years. I think most of mine were 4-6 weeks. Like iamthelazerviking said, they will just magically appear in the mail when done.
I just had one done recently, 4-6 weeks exactly. He is very responsive over email. Unquestionably worth the wait. Haven't had a rollout or double feed in my phantom once since the mod was installed, and I'm typically running it with super small (0.675) paint. A few weeks after I mailed him mine, I sent an email inquiry regarding the eta, and his response was "it's in your mail box right now". He was correct. Magic was involved as I had checked my mail box earlier that day.
Thanks for all the replies! I already shipped the body out and it has been delivered. I'm in no rush but was just curious! It will definitely be worth the wait! Now I will almost have my dream phantom setup complete.
I sent in a BUNCH of bodies last time, and I remember it being somewhere in the 2-5 week range, but I guess I also did the same thing as most people and just waited to be surprised when it showed up. I have a bunch to send in again. He also said he could do the slot on a body for the Phoenix, so I might actually get around to that project.
