    Phantom Teardown

This might be the least useful teardown I’ve done, but that’s okay.

    Subject Phantom:

And start by removing the easy parts!

Next I remove the top feed tube: it’s just a single screw at the front of the feed tube.

And here is the top of the marker usually covered by the feed tube. You can now see the bolt.

Next I have to loosen the hardline, which simply means loosening the fitting. one the fitting is free, you can undo the two thumb screws

And now the frame separates from the body. You’ll also find the pump detaches at the point as the pump rod is sandwiched between the trigger frame and body. The main pump rod actually connects to the bolt:

With the grip frame set aside we can continue to disassembly the body. It start by separating the two sections of the body, just a slight twist and pull separated my body. This Phantom has likely never been taken apart.

You can see I have a rear gauge on my Phantom.

And now we get to the internals. The valve train just screws off the rear body.

And the anti-kink hammer and bolt just slide out of the front body section.
