Very interesting, I definitely prefer under-cocking kits on my phantoms and this looks pretty nice.

Not a huge fan of the handle shape. I think the dual rod looks better but the retention of the thumb take down screw is a really nice lifestyle upgrade. No other UC kit offers that. I wonder how hard it would be to get or make one for a Dual rod kit.
I also don’t understand the obsession with twist. Who pumps like that? Twist might make the handle feel sloppy but to me that seems more like a tolerance issue than anything. (The Empire Sniper comes to mind)
Twisting the handle takes an extra step why would someone add that to the process. Seems like just bad form like not holding the handle forward and grabbing the regulator/ fore grip after each shot. Sure people do it, you can bump return spring pressure up to counter the bad form. Everyone has their own style of play and are welcome to play how they want. But to me it’s just as important a skill as a switching hands. Is it really an issue for anyone? People talk about it all the time like it’s common. I just never ran into it I guess. Am I missing something?

What CCM suffers from this tho? Early Gen1 T2 have more wobble then say like a quad rod. But it’s not like it binds even if you try to twist and pump. No twisting that’s for only fans. -
You're right, but that was my point I think. CCM introduced the extra rod pump specifically for the way the cocker AT functions and they apparently knew that the world needed a machinegun pump for gorillas. There's no need to "stabilize" outside of autotriggering a cocker like a foo.

I’m curious if that front extended thumb knob is going to interfere with a VSC front ASA. The screw barely clears at standard length.
I think that’s why Mike went with a button head bolt instead. Easy fix if not but I like that feature a lot.Comment

i guess i struck a nerve, i dont think he considered
that at all
i found knurled (tool less) screws on mcmaster carr a year ago that fix that issue. the knurled portion is "long" and skinny to clear the asa but they work. and are less than a $1 each. -
I’m not on BookFace I’m guessing he didn’t consider that. Still an easy fix for him. He could also recess the screw a bit as long as he didn’t Ano them yet..😬
But I don’t think that will work with a VSC setup. Probably better he finds out now before he sends them out.

ive owned both his and the rtr.
his has the option of a delrin trigger and there are forward AND back travel adjustment screws.
they are almost the same design.
somehow, the rtr was smoother than the vindicate trigger. i also like the 3 hole plates aesthetics over the "milled out" trigger he makes.
still a great option, and more readily available than hunting down a garg -
That's awesome to hear. I few months ago I asked him about a second run and he said they were on the list. I might snag one in all aluminum if he does just for yucks, obviously it could be better from what you say but rtr are unicorns at this point -
RTR definitely makes the best Slide trigger. My Gloss black Garg is smooth AF. My Carter Comp was a close 2nd. LNT made one that was pretty smooth but it had sharper edges and I didn’t find it as comfortable to use.
