Got something in the mail from ASP

I bought an acid wash red/clear last month from Nosfelorus. He shipped it extremely fast, all the way to MI from HI. Only for me to box her back up and send her to ASP. After all that traveling, the breech is back and it’s all assembled! Too bad I can’t hit the field for 2-3 weeks….

Best phantom Mod. The thing will shoot money now even with the older large fixed bore barrels. Won’t ever need those detent rings anymore

It was life changing on my main, black Phantom (the one that was giving me velocity and non-firing issues in the other thread). I’m excited to get this one some play time. Now I’ll have 2 stock guns with me so maybe I can get some “new recruits”!

That looks sweet! I have been meaning to send a body or two to them to do that mod…. What was the tune around time for that mod at ASP? Does their detent mod price include shipping the body back to you?

Usually 1-2 weeks it’s a one man show. Definitely worth the wait.

The return shipping is calculated at checkout iirc.

It was calculated at the checkout in the website. I want to say it was about 3 weeks from when I shipped it until it arrived back. As people in here have suggested before, I tried to just forget about it and be surprised when it arrived back.

Wow, beautiful gun! I'm always a bit scared when doing the mod on an acid wash or other unique anno breech - I admittedly goofed one years ago (a green/black acid), contacted the owner, told him of my mea culpa, and was able to get a near match replacement from St. Casady to make things right. Lesson learned, I double check my X-axis offset now.

Yamess191 Turnaround varies depending on my availability and if I have any other breeches to run (I try to run several in a batch if possible). Return shipping is included - currently I tack on $5 to cover paypal fees/shipping on orders under $50, so it will save you a few bucks if you send in more than one breech. I'm out on vacation for the next week, so I suggest waiting until August to send in your breech(es) if you'd like to get the mod done.
