What does everyone think? Rockin and cockin? Or crammin and jammin?

Just received the Hogue 15 degree grip (from Hogue) and the 10 round feed tube (from a MCB member).

I’m considering cutting down an OC handle to the size of the mini 2.5” handle because the UC feels pretty front-heavy on such a small marker. I’d do a black one so that I don’t wreck this beautiful red transparent one. The new grip is pretty light further exaggerating the balance discrepancy.

      I'm an odd duck.
The reverse feed block is my favorite

        Rock back!
        Also helps prevent rollout 😁

Rock back is more practical for rollouts/double feeds but is a pain for anything with a stock. Plus most Nelsons look ugly rocking back.

I've been returning to the K-frame and pirate stock the last few years ... I've been pulling the stock out of all my regular players

Since I use leash-capped tubes I'm with iamthelazerviking and will be rock n cock forever. Cram and jam can create sighting issues for me.

I have a couple rock back markers and they're fine, but my muscle memory is forward

        My personal preference and why.

Rock forward 12 round 1 pice is my favorite in both looks and performance. I like the extra two rounds so I can top off when needed never caught with an empty feed. The 15 is to long for me gets in my line of sight I find it distracting. 12 is perfect I know how many are in my feed by feel. Don’t even got to look now it’s all mussel memory. Angled feeds are fun but I’m a Stock Class Nerd spring feeds add extra steps just give me a good old reliable 12 round horizontal feed. The one piece is my favorite especially the thin mondo style one's for looks. But the 12 round classic are great too there is no performance difference from my experience.

My biggest Issue with cram and jam for me is it’s only 10 shots it needs to be completely empty to load the next tube. I often run capless pack but I do sometimes run gauntlets with caps they can flip in the way.

That’s the coolest thing about the Phantom you can find your flavor cuz there are so many different options. I went through them all came full circle back to a VSC 12 round one piece feed stock UC kit detent mod long barrel setup. I run a much longer setup them most other Stock Class players but that’s my flavor.

It is the coolest thing about a phantom for sure. I am constantly switching things up. I have a 12 round one piece feed that I love on my black phantom. I wish I could get one in the clear/red acid wash to match this new-to-me one. The 15 tube is way too long for me, but an MCBer sold me the 10 round one that matches perfectly. I played with the 10 round cram and jam last week while waiting for the 10 round feed to arrive. It was pretty nerve wracking getting into a fire fight and having to reload at exactly the right time, not a shot or two early….

Yeah it’s not something I would change color matched parts out for. Just a preference.

Rock n Cock for me, while I started out with Sheridan I prefer rock forward anymore. Works well with how I hold my marker barrel down anyway.

Just used my phantom last weekend and found myself rocking back a lot. Maybe the world is changing.

Here I am out at Swampy’s Pump game last weekend. First time playing with this Phantom. Also first time doing a whole day of cram and jam, always had ended up switching back to the feed tube previously.

Cram and jam is cool but you pretty much have to be empty to change tubes as opposed to, say, a 12 round feed which allows for “topping off” without ever actually being empty.

Forward/back doesn’t really matter although if we had a huge stock class target shooting tournament I’d bet the rock forward people would win when it came to speed.

Ehh, in a real world shooting situation, I am routinely shooting up slightly to lob my shot anyways. Rock back allows you to " just shoot" in those situations. I can rack off 3 or 4 pretty fast.

Rock and cock for the last 15 years and I don’t think I’ll change. Picked up this open class from another form member he will probably be used by my brother transitioning from an electro. Somehow, I finally got two phantoms and a week later I had three, they replicate like rabbits
