    Pumping problems

Hello there. While the phantom I acquired recently does shoot great, there’s a peculiarity that I didn’t experience with my previous one. The pump handle has to pretty much be slammed to get the sear to engage and shoot correctly. If I slowly pump it, it won’t engage the sear. There’s also the issue of it being impossible to pump or too stiff if both of the two body screws are too tight. The screw fell out once when I was testing it. The only thing I’ve tried is changing how much the pump handle is screwed into the rod and where it’s at now seems to be the sweet spot. I disassembled it to clean it and inspect it but I don’t think I put it together wrong unless there’s something I’m missing. I’m not sure if I have to adjust the trigger or something but I can’t figure it out and I can only get it to shoot roughly. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

No matter what angle I look at this photo, its quite artistic. And a nice gun... Lots of good upgrades on it

As for engaging the hammer... A lot of times these needed to be gassed up. Does it engage with air supplied to it? Or do you still need to slam it?

Nevermind, I did put it together wrong. I put the pump handle rod on the hole with the allen key screw and not the larger empty hole.
