with the new phantom markers coming out, does anyone kno if acid colors will be an option in the future? ive been to the site, and did not see any option for acid colors. does anyone kno?

They did offer a “mist Series” think NIB custom ano phantom. I think they were all open class and very expensive. Ano jobs we’re cool and well done. They were pre built markers I don’t think they offered them as custom builds.

extreme is otherwise just offering gloss black currently. They put up a phantom builder with color options but I believe they still only offer black currently.

I believe Mike used to do parts in the thousands which is how he could offer the acid ano's so cheap. If the new owners bring it back I'd expect it to be a much more costly option as I don't believe they're working at the same volume.

I will be very surprised if they offer it. If they do it will be a case by case basis on new marker builds. They are not going to make matching parts to match the old CCI acid wash that’s for sure. They are using a different guy for ano now I think.

It seems like they are just building markers out of stock and sending a few out for custom ano. I haven’t seen any new Stock Class markers from them only open. Since dropping all social media I haven’t really been following what they are doing currently. But the Mist ano looks good just a lil busy for me, and if I’m spending that much it better come with all the options or let me choose the ones I want at least. I think that’s why the used market is so strong right now. Use to find VSC for $250 now they are $350+ Used.

I love that The Phantom is still being built, but I'll tell ya we didn't know how good we had it when it was run by Mike. I feel that the new owners are just trying to get back to the point where they can reliably offer parts and guns.... I'm sure the 'Rona isn't helping out at all. I *feel* that the only way you're going to see an acid phantom again is if you purchase a new black one and have it done yourself.

I was told earlier this year (by an E.V. employee) that they would not be doing acid wash as an option any more. Its just too expensive for the production stock they have.

Personally I think they should offer the phantoms in Raw for guys who want to get custom jobs done. Might make it a bit easier.
