side feed stock class body to hopper addapter?

    Hello Y'all,

I got a side feed stock-class body phantom id like to slap a hopper on without changing the body (it has some cool milling).
It will be 50rd hopper, so not much weight.

CCI/EV makes this little guy for a clamping feed neck, Are elbow feed neck available for it?
Im tottaly OK with a stub and use an elbow.

Did anyone ever made such an adapter or am i gonna have to make something myself?

If i need to make something from scratch, i might make a saddle style adapter 🤔

    Thanks,

How do you mount an elbow to them?

They take Empire spec feednecks, so pick your poison: Inception, SCONI, or a stock plastic one, etc. Here's one on my modified Nelspot:

I know, i have them, but does anyone make an elbow for them?
On a vertical feed there is plenty of options, but I'm mounting this on a side feed.

      PS: cool build 👍

The only production thing I can think of is the CCM elbows for their right feed guns with removable feeds and those are super rare from what I've seen. I think for the price, you'd also be better off making something yourself.

If I have a feedneck adapter, I can check and see if the stubs from the unibodies fit it. If it's a match, I may have one for you.

I've been trying to get one of Mozak's offset feed necks to build an offset adapter from a Phantom. As far as I know, there has never been a Phantom offset adapter for a feedneck for open class play.

Thanks for the info, I may have to bribe one of our machinist ( DocsMachine, Kit, anyone?) to make stub adapter for the CCI adapter as i wont have time to make anything for quite a while ...

Mount the feed adapter and take a trip to the plumbing store - or if you are fancy 3D printer.

this is set up for tube play but you’ll get the cheap idea.
