I'm sending out one of my phantoms to get annodized and was wondering how do you take the breach inserts out? Also what is the easiest way to get the rod stop pin out of the frame?

Kind of the same concept I think.
for freak bored barrels sometimes the inserts get stuck and I stick a piece of duct tape sticky side out in there with a little tab hanging out then pull on the tab.

I used a straight flute extractor on my green/silver build and ended up trashing the inserts, but removing them without damaging anything.
For my recent duckslide build I listened to the soldering iron advice and that worked flawlessly. I stuck the tip of the iron into the inner side of the insert and waited a minute or so and it was really easy just to put a screw right into it and then screw it right back out.Comment

The pump rod stop is a real challenge - I recommend putting a stop collar on a drill bit and drilling out enough that it collapses. It's 3/16" long and 1/8" OD, so a 3/32" bit would be a good start. A spiral extractor or #4 self-tapping screw might give you enough purchase to "yoink" it out with a slide hammer or similar, too.
A steel ruler in your trigger slot can prevent it slipping and punching into your frame on the backside.Feedback
