Stock class for the rest of us

Made a 3d print of a stock class feed neck that attaches to the fixed feed collar bodies. Now Phantom owners have less of an excuse to not play stock class. Input hole is 1/2 mm larger to allow more room for orienting the stick feed the way you want it.

uses m4-0.7 nut and (I think) 20mm bolt

To play proper stock class per the stock class 2.0 rules you're going to need to adjust the angle of that feed so that it's horizontal with the body. It's not allowed to be at any kind of angle or they won't be allowed to use it.

Fortunately "proper" is whatever people agree upon. A stick feed on an elbow is "stock class" to a lot, myself included.

New England does have a pretty strict set of rules for stockclass. 12 grams and horizontal feeds only. This is the way.

We also have strong pump group for those who dont play our strict rules.

But in my mind anything that gets more players playing pump and heading in that direction is good.

the point to be made is
10 rounds in a gravity fed tube (autotrigger friendly) vs true rock n cock (single shot, bps limited)

there IS a significant difference, and the horizontal feed IS worth it. in my experience, folks who dont want to play with a 10rnd tube in the first place are not going to be swayed by an angled stick feed.
so, just make it 90° or dont call it "stock class"

I agree nice print but they dont call it rock and cock for nothin. I agree its a step towards pump whatever. Its an experience circle for myself,started there and came back. Either way, at the end of the day I’m pump whatever forever. I mean no personal attack on you either. Thanks jim for bringing this to my attention.

Traditional stock-class has always been defined as having the feed tube be in horizontal alignment with the barrel. The newer stock-class 2.0 rules reflect that. A stick feed on any sort of an angle has historically been defined as "modified stock-class". Obviously, if you're not playing at an event where any rules are being enforced, then these definitions don't matter.

Definitions aside, anyone producing 3D printed parts and then publicly sharing their files for either traditional stock-class or modified stock-class should be thanked for their efforts as commercial industry support for either format no longer exists.

For a few years before hoppers became standard the first “direct feed” modded PGP, etc were basically this but rotated 90°. So, as others have said, it’s not stock, it’s a significant advantage potentially. This is essentially a 12 round hopper.

It’s honestly just an elbow for a stick feed which you can already buy or make yourself…no CAD or 3D printer required. The plumbing supply section of the Homeless Despot already stocks the same PVC pipe that Viewloader etc sold us in the 80s/90s.
