CCM T2 HPR sweeting spotting psi?

I’m trying to get some more information. I have sweet spotting my T2 HPR reg 3 times in the last month. When I test the output pressure it is set at 380psi.

I was hoping to hear what everyone has to say about the output psi. I hear between 300-350psi for T2s. Mine is an early T2, serial 015. The HPR is a new S6 reg since I did not get an original T2 reg when I purchased it. All new springs, all new orings. Looks like original valve body. I have played with it every other weekend for the last 6 months and sweet spotted it again this last weekend and it was still doing 380psi.

Thoughts? It seems to work just fine sitting at 380psi output for the HPR. I’m just curious.

There isn’t a benefit getting it lower if that’s ware it sweet spots. You would have to change springs in order to get it lower.

    This should help with tuning.

T2's tend to be higher pressure, and while that does seem a bit higher than expected, that might just be where it needs to be

I have followed TFs stuff. It just seemed way higher than what everyone says. So I figured I would ask around again.

Just out of curiosity is it one of the newer mini regs or the built into the VSA regs like they use on the J12?

What tank input pressure you running? I know the smaller regs act funky on anything over 450psi.

It’s a full size s6 reg. Tank output pressure is about 450.

Yeah I wouldn’t worry about it. It’s a lil on the higher side. Might just be your spring set is a lil on the stiffer side. They can vary a bit. If it balances out at 380 I would just leave it.

One thing you can check to I doubt it’s your issue but check that your grip frame screws are in the proper position. If the long one is in the back it enters the lower tube and makes contact with the springs. This can cause all kinds of funky things. Long in the front Short to the back.
