    CCM serial Numbers?

Friend has a new(to him) T2 and just took it apart and found the serial number of A012 and we were wondering if that meant it was actually T2 number 12 or if the A in the front had some other meaning. Also just in general curious if anyone has information on the CCM serialization process and what it means for reading serial numbers to determine age

A was likely a 2nd or 3rd batch. First t2's i don't think were serialized then went to numbers.

I know that s6's started with S5P then to S6 and S6B. S5P was based on the s5 body blank. S6 was complete s6 version 1.Then later revised the frame and maybe a few other things to be called s6b.

example being this early t2. It has the "wings" but no serial number. Later versions remove the wings and had serial number.

I have a T2 with “wings” serial number. No letter in front.

Then my other T2 has no wings. Quad-rod. USA then number
