    Replacement boards

FYI to anyone here that owns a DP gun with a dead board. Starting to see some options pop up for new production replacements.

Big Boar paintball currently has options for what looks like most of the DP lineup. I believe they are all semi auto only drop ins.

Then Florypb said about developing boards for the FX and threshold I believe maybe the F7/F8 as well. I’d assume features would be comparable to other options from him.

There's a guy that advertises a bit on Reddit that has single boards for DPs. I think it's the same guy. Great way to breathe some live into old dead markers. Owned more than a few DP markers and generally liked them!

Yeah I believe it is the same guy. Agreed it’s nice to see some options to keep these things kickin. I always like the DP markers I’ve shot/owned.

Update on the Zombie board based on recent announcements.
They now have adjustable dwell, BPS is programmable, and have semi/NXL ramping modes.

no idea if the bps is down to 5.5 for 10am or not.

BPS is adjustable from 5 to 10.5 at .5 increments.

I see that you are only on Face Plant now?
Are there any options for purchase for us not on there besides starting an account?

Are these replacement boards/screens still available? I have a Rev-I with an APE board with a burnt out OLED.

Anyone use one of these boards and recommend it?

Any other options out there for an fx board that seems to work fine other than the OLED screen?

I have a Threshold that I am trying to breathe life back into currently.
I picked up a Big Boar Zombie board last year (S/N 0005).
The thing that turned me off to it was you had to "glue" a 3D printed spacer to either the switch or your trigger.
I put it aside and haven't done much till I watched a couple of Flory Tube vids.
So I picked up one of his boards too.
The thing about the Flory is, he positioned the switch differently, so that you can bend it to get the trigger to actuate it.
I still don't have enough to get it right, so I might need to create a shim for that one to work too.
I will try to get some pictures tonight of both boards to show what I am talking about.
The really nice thing about the Flory boards are that he prints a UPC barcode on the back of the board so you can scan it and then pull up the programming instructions.
I thought that was a really nice addition.

So here are both boards for a Threshold.
I broke them down to show what you get.

I ended up installing the Flory PB board last nite finally.
Also included a pic of the back of the board to show the UPC code.
After slowly bending the switch and trials, I finally got it in place.
The tab stuck up too far and when the grips were installed, it wouldn't allow contact.
Ended up bending it some more till I had clearance.
Programming was pretty easy, even for the color blind guy.
                          Very happy with it.

Here is both of them for a comparison to show the switch placement on each board.
Sorry for the spelling... Was ready for bed time, but wanted to get pic.

Also got a board for my G3 IQ.
Noticed this one has a 3D printed button with it.
Will get to installing this one later.
Also... His instructional videos on Tube are really quite good.
                              Very helpful when installing.
