I've had 3 or 4 DP marker's over the years. I liked my F7 i think the best, but always had some leak issues. Second would maybe be the Blue G3 I had. I like the aesthetics. Never owned a Rev-i or a Threshy, but I've heard those were nice.

I've only had a G3 and a G4, never had the opportunity to mess with the Fusion line. IMO, the G3 was the best. Throw in a TechT L7 bolt, upgrade the reg and maybe the ASA (if you get a bad one), and they're immensely fun guns. The G4 was a step backwards, with a worse trigger and the bolt o-rings fitted inside the body for... reasons. Reg still sucked, macro fittings still sucked. By the time the G5 came out, that low-mid level electro market was taken over by the etha line and there was no reason to ever give it a go.
The Rev-i and Threshold all use the G3 bolt engine, so realistically they'd all shoot the same. -
I've owned both a Threshy and a Revi-I. Both were fun markers. Bought the Threshy new! I think my friend still has it in his basement somewhere..... The Revi was a very nice shooter. Had the option to use a clear tube on the back to see the bolt move. Both were nicely milled although the Threshy was a lot more intricate.Comment

Pure aesthetics the threshold followed by the rev-I. Shooting wise, the g3 I had was the best shooting DP gun I personally owned (I had a f7, g3, and fx). To be fair though the fx was a recent thing and I could never find detents to keep it from double feeding.
i did use an F8 pretty extensively once or twice and it was a nice shooter.Comment

I have had a lot of different G3s. It is actually the only electro gun I have kept. They are just such a simple and satisfying design to shoot/work on. The techt L7 bolt really made them great. The factory bolt was by no means terrible, but super inefficient and needed a super thin amount of lube applied frequently. As mentioned the stock reg was lacking and the factory board as well. I have always liked the removable rear handle on them when walking around. Are they as bullet proof as the PE gamma core system? Absolutely not! But they are great for what they are and definitely an underated platform. I have not had to, but I have seen that rebuild kits for the solenoids exist now as well.Comment

I still got a my old F7 LE in green says 1 of 25 next time I’m at Pops house I will get a picture of it. It’s mint I only shot it for like one season before I went and bought an Ego.Comment

The fx. Their whole fasor line is really under rated if you ask me.
The g3/4 had a lot of issues out of the box and I think people started associating that with the brand but it was only that spool platform. The fasor markers worked and shot really well

The F7 we have was always a workhorse should brush the dust off it at some point.Originally posted by MAr "... Nish deleted it..."

I’ve had 3 or 4 F7s & always liked them. I owned an F8 briefly & liked it too. I forget why i got rid of it so quickly. I’ve owned a G3 or 2 but i don’t think either worked so i never shot them. I had an E1 briefly too. Not a bad shooting little gun but out of the box it’s pretty much unusable at most fields i think. Only modes were semi @ 25bps & full auto. I say unusable but i guess as long as you kept your ROF under control you’d probably be fine. I used it for a day & just made a conscious effort not to really get on the trigger. I was gifted an FX today with a dead board by a guy that played with years ago. He’s getting back into it & bought all new guns/gear for himself & his son. I guess I’ll throw a Flory board in it & go from there.Comment

I kind of wanted to get my hands on every Dangerous Power marker at some point. So far I've owned the F7, F8, FX, two G3's (one of which is fully upgraded) and a Rev- I... I think that's all of them so far.
Would love to try out a Fusion Elite, G5 Spec-R. I recently tried to get my hands on an M3-A1, which seems to be exceedingly rare (they were stupid expensive, I doubt many people bought one new.)
Esthetically, I love the Rev-I, but it's basically a worse performing version of the G3. In terms of quality and simplicity, a fully upgraded G3, especially a decently priced used one with upgrades (mine was $100 and came with a Dye Rotor) is an amazing performance bargain.Comment
