DSG feedtube: converting to later model

I've been looking at the DSG for a while and i have a feed-tube question.

Is it possible to upgrade an early feed-tube version to the latest side feed port ones?
What would it take?

a milling machine. i converted 1st gen parts that were sent in while machining the 2nd gens. i dont have a milling mcahine in case you were going to ask lol.

Well, The DSG sold was i was looking to pick up a DRV ... then I got outbid on the DRV ... So back to square one.
