M2, Rail, Eye pipe questions

Do the M2s and the 2011 Rails use the same eye pipes?

I don't think so because I happen to have a CZR, which does use the M2 eye pipe, and a 2011 rail. The CZR eye pipe does not appear to fit in the rail.

Correct. CZR uses the 4th gen, which it shares with the M2, M3, and DSR. The 2011 Rail uses the 3rd gen eye pipe.

M2, M3, DSR, and CZR use the 4th gen eye pipe (blue detents)

2011 Rail uses the 3rd gen (red detents), as do the DM8 through DM15

The NT and DAM each have their own special eye pipes.
