Gen-E Matrix; adding an LPR?

Hi all. I relatively recently acquired a pre-DYE Matrix (yes, it has DYE frame/board/noid): https://www.mcarterbrown.com/forum/p...272#post276272

It does not have an LPR. My memory is a bit shaky, these run just fine without and LPR, right? Is adding one as easy as buying and screwing it in? What sort of improvement can I expect by adding an LPR? If I get one, it'll be an AKA, as I've got to put an order in there for a few other markers.

Yes, installation is that easy: unscrew the bolt on the front and replace with the LPR.

With the LPR, you can lower the pressure required to move the bolt and the gun will shoot much smoother.
