I just got a DM3 from the Goodwill Auction Site and it surprisingly had an Aardvark Slam Bolt Kit in it. The bolt is in pretty good shape, but the edges of the front wall are a little beat up. The front wall looks pretty similar to the standard matrix bolt. Are they the same? That will make finding a replacement much easier.

Should the rear cap on a slam bolt kit be backed off a quarter turn from snug like the normal bolt kit?Comment

snug.. i think... its never really specified..
the backing off a quarter turn was to reduce the stress on the spacer the old semi circle ones were prone to cracking if the back cap was overtorquedComment
