DSR Reg Seat spring missing

A friend of mine got a used DSR that seems to be missing the spring from the Hyper 6 reg (the smaller spring that sits below the reg seat, not the one for the piston).

I can only find the complete rebuild kit available. Was this spring purpose built or is it possible to find a replacement from somewhere else?

Call Dye, they pick up the phone still.

They will probably send you just that spring.

I’d recommend against experimenting, your just going to waste money on paint and your time.
