    Hyper 3 reg seats…

Aired up a CZR I’ve had for a little while for the first time a few days ago. Immediately leaked. Pulled out the bolt to find it full of bits of black plastic. First thought was reg seat. Sure enough, i pulled out the velocity adjuster to find that about 1/2 of the reg seat was gone. I cleaned everything up pretty good i think. I even pulled the solenoid & blew out the microline. First time in 28ish years of playing that I’ve had that happen.

My question is this - has anyone ever used 3d printed seats? There are some listed on eBay but they look fairly rough.

I don't remember what section it was posted in but I think one member did try a printed seat and found it sealed but had super slow recharge.

Yeah they are dirt cheap but it’s not the cost. I was mainly curious as to whether the 3D printed ones being made of a different material might hold up better over time. Slow recharge for longevity is not a great compromise though. I’ll just buy a few OEM & check it periodically.

Thanks. I’m just going to go with OEM.
