Ive done research on tuning Egos and still have questions. Most of the timing back then was about efficiency. I'm wondering if anyone can help guide me or point me in the direction on slowing down the ram. I want to tune my Ego 09 to be smoother rather than poppy. It has a zick 2 ram and cure 3 bolt. Just replaced the LPR seat. Just want it to shoot smoother. Or any mods that can be done to do so. Any input is appreciated. If it's not possible it's all good. Thank you

sounds like u want it to shoot like a spool valve gun, dont think thats possible. only thing i know of that will help is lighter rammer.
personally i like the way egos shoot, and they r loud too, which i also enjoy

also- look through the ego info on pbn., there's alot of it. may help u to get softer shot, usually u'll sacrifice something else thoughComment

I restored it. Had blown LPR and HPR reg seats and got it not working. Noid works. But after fixing the reg seats, it just seems harsh vs my Ego10 (10 shoots alot smoother) unless between those years PE made it smoother.Attached FilesComment

never shot a 10 but ive shot 5,6,7 and all pretty much feel the same (or similar, i should say) as far as cycling. 9 has qev right? (such a sexy body style)Comment

The egos were made progressively smoother from the 10 on up. 7-9 all focused on cycle speed iirc. Id just enjoy the donkey kick and loud report of the beast.Comment
