    12 gram c02 cartridges are grandfathered in…

Had many an afternoon delight with my trusty Daisy, Copperhead 12 gram 25 pack c02 and some copperhead BB’s.

I have nothing but love for the 12g c02. I just remember my 20.OZ c02 having an ANTI-Siphon filter installed and that did the trick. Only catch was the filter had to be upright to work. So it’s not impossible, and I have nothing but praise for that pump running 12 gram. I’m likely headed in that direction myself as I’m finding 500 balls per game to be getting a bit old.

Lol. Filter. I'm sorry man, but you're just going to catch more flack for that one. Go grab your flame retardant suit. The geezers will get you in the morning.

I don't know about the seals, but the biggest issue is pressure relief. If liquid gets into the marker and boils off, there's nowhere for it to go. You'll either get crazy hot shots at best, or damage low pressure components at worst. I'd personally worry about over-pressurization in the grip, you know, where your hand is.

If you want a modern mech that's CO2 friendly, the eNMEy runs on it. The stock regulator has a pressure relief built in. If you shoot downward and siphon in liquid, you'll hear the reg vent after a minute. Pretty clever if you ask me.

      So....
What you are telling me is if I put an eNMey reg in the ASA, and put an expansion chamber between the tank and the eNMey reg...?

You don't need an expansion chamber. But I don't see why you couldn't do that if you wanted to anyway.

Wait, put all of that onto an Emek? I don't think that would work. I don't believe the Emek reg vents when degassing. So if any liquid somehow mysteriously got past all of that, it would be trapped by the built-in regulator.

Sounds right to me. The enmy reg and chamber that is. Still, keep the firing rate fairly low.

Automag on 20-oz CO2, in Alaska, in late November.

From what I remember the Luxe (first generation at least) uses the same reg. That might be the ideal electro to rip some smokey ropes on.

That would be hilarious. Use a siphon tank best results.
