So. I like the idea of the emek full auto valves but after the MCB brain trust figured out how it was done, suddenly I didn't feel the need to spend $40 for something I could do myself. So, bought a couple of firing cans for $7 each, in true DocsMachine style cracked open a mountain dew and pulled out the tools.
Well really all I needed was a flex shaft (Dremel) with a diamond bit and a round file for cleanup.
Ground in my own grove.
.554 ended up around 6 or 7bps. I wanted a little more so I kept going
.560 ended up around 10bps and I decided to leave this one there. One interesting thing, I have a hair valve and a double trigger so my emek is very walkable. I can walk it faster than it will full auto but there's a few odd chuffs here and there when I do that. I'm suspecting those will be shoot down but won't know until I field it
My bps numbers are guesstimates as my Chrono doesn't measure bps
So, now I still have 2 cans left. I want to leave one for semi auto. The other, I'm going to try and devise a way of making it adjustable full auto.
More to come
