It's part of the purge system that vents the air from inside the gun when degassed, maybe called the purge piston?
I'm certain Adrenaline Paintball, formerly Paintball Gateway, has them because they are the exclusive distributor of the SL3 inline regulators now.
edit: called the purge poppet. here ya go:

just a suggestion, also replace this seal while the reg us open, especially if it is the original seal from 2011:

Awesome. Thank you. Off to Ebay for reg seats.
Edit: There is no reg seats so I will pick 2 of those up. I need LPR seats/Ego 10 seats for his other mess.Comment

Just an FYI, the reg seats (or reg seals as PE calls them) in the SL3 can be flipped and reused. Jack Woods specifically mentions that in the video about the reg. But i wouldnt bother if they are 5+ years old. Urethane supposedly begins breaking down after that long.Comment

Both his Ego 10 and 11 were venting through the solenoid. There is no seats in them at all. There was just black chunks and dust in the HPR of the 11 and the 10 was just not there for both HPR and LPR. I was shooting Angel back when, so I really have limited knowledge of these things. I ordered some seats from Ebay that a user on here sells. And used your link for the rest. I appreciate the help. -
Wow, it sounds like the urethane seat disintegrated. It does do that eventually, I'm sure you've experienced when removing and old clear oring and it just snaps or crumbles instead of stretching out of a groove and off the part. Reg seats seem to hold up longer though. I dont know if it's because they're a much higher duro or have less surface area. But I have a few wall hanger from the 90s with their original seats that cycle They prob wouldn't do too erll over a chrono though lol
Hopefully none of the chiunks made their way into the solenoid. That would be a mess. Best of luck with the rebuilds. You're friend if going to own you a beer once you're done...maybe a case of beer lol
