my rarely used 160r finally needed a new battery. only 18k shots. ive tried 2 energy batteries, energizer max, amazon brand and a few randoms laying around, they all show less than 1/4 battery life. any ideas?

If it makes any difference, my 170R from brand new never shows a battery full. I used it for an entire tourney season of xball without ever swapping it just to see how long it would last. I ended up swapping the battery the morning of the beach invasion for ION in 2023. All in all it never failed to cycle due to battery issues and I am convinced I changed it early for ION.

alright so idk what happened but its showing full now. i shot it to make sure it was all good. battery showed no juice. popped the grip off and pushed all the wires into the connectors to be safe and now its registering as full. lol i guess a crappy connection in one of the pigtails. thanks guys!Comment

Glad it is working. Yes ANS has a tech video on a gmek or something with that board system and same problem was a board problem. Glad it was just a connection.Comment
