Open face bolt for emek markers

Any reason not to use an open face bolt for the emek markers. Took the soft tip bolt and removed the rubber insert, gain about 20 to 25 fps.

You might experience a little more roll back. Also the CS3 bolt tip will fit in the ST3 bolt and it lets you retain a soft top while providing a FPS bump.

The stock bolt works just fine as is. I can shoot tournament grade paint well below its recommended temperatures with the stock bolt. Why fix what isn’t broke.

Paint will shred in your pod / hopper before your emek will break a ball in the process of firing it.

I use a Venturi face insert in my gmek but other than maybe sound I don’t think it does much. Keep in mind lower pressure isn’t necessarily better

Yep. This is the best solution. I picked up one of their Delrin bolts at one point and it came with all their bolt faces. Its been fun to mess around with them.

You can also clip the stock soft face to have little fingers sticking out like the CS3 bolt face. Best of both worlds.
