Magnetic pre-travel set screws for the Planet Eclipse 160 & 170R
These set screws allow you to have an adjustable magnetic trigger for your 160 or 170R.
I am currently running mine without The
leaf spring activation screw. The magnetic force combined with the micro switch provides a light, yet snappy trigger pull. If you prefer a heavier trigger, simply increase the leaf spring tension screw as you would normally and you’ll still have the snap of the magnet at the beginning and end of the pull.
Installation is very easy. Simply remove the pre-travel set screw in the bearing carrier and replace it with the magnet tipped version. Apply a dab of blue loc-tite and adjust to desired travel length.
