    Ego 11 troubleshooting.

I am building an ego 11 for a friend and it seals and shoots. However, the velocity will not get past 220fps. HPR and LPR are completely rebuilt. HPR is not creeping or leaking, set it at 200psi on my reg tester. It did the same thing with a dart kit and a stock valve and bolt. It does have the LV2 noid conversion in it because the old noid was shot. Battery is fresh also. Noid is set to + + max on both.

This one is driving me bonkers. Any tips?

You got a name brand battery in it? Ego 11 are super simple to tec. But I know nothing about the solenoid mod.

have you adjusted the HPR to increase the velocity?

If a new battery and it upping the hpr doesn't help, you need to increase your solenoid dwell time.

The mod uses an lv2 noid on an aluminum manifold. HPR was turned up to try and increase velocity, but even close to 300 psi output there was maybe 10fps difference. Battery is Duracell. Dwell is at 12

Does the solenoid mod keep the old air flow restrictors in place?

I had the same issue with a PE dart kit installed . Ended up ordering a stock valve which uppd me from 220 to 250. I found a softer spring with same dimensions and installed which upped it to 278-286. Have not yet messed with dwell , but noid is set to hi-power

Interested to see if anyone else has ideas. I have the same issue with an Ego11 and haven't been able to find a solution.

I've tried increasing both HPR and LPR to overly high levels, same with solenoid dwell, new orings and reg seats throughout.

I think the only thing left that is somehow there's reduced valve throw.

I have tried it with both a stock valve and Dart kit. Same results. It was a brand new solenoid purchased from PE. I have a second ego 11 that I can cannibalize parts off of. The only thing I can think of is the noid/manifold doing something funky with the volume of air actuating the ram forward.

Pretty sure the noid just hits softer than the ego11 noid. I just went with a softer spring

Probably it’s an LV solenoid? PE used that arm system for the ram on the LV that gives it a mechanical advantage on the valve the 11 dose not have.

                          Update:
tried lighter spring - same results
Pulled the noid and manifold from my other 2011 and put it in place of the lv2 noid and conversion kit - instantly chronod at 290fps

                          Thoughts?
