What happened to the BT TM series?

The BT TM series was an excellent woods ball/scenario marker. Quiet, efficient, reliable. Whatever happened that Empire dropped the line just as scenario was picking up and becoming more popular? Seems they did the same thing with the Sniper. Yes the TM isn't mag fed but there are popular markers used in scenario that also are not mag fed or FS capable. Just a curiosity.

I think they didnt sell. Its an axe thats harder to tech at the end of the day.

That being said I have a tm15, a parts tm15, and a tm7. i keep em around for markers to mount a law to, but they sit otherwise.

The tm7 I hate the floppy ASA.

The tm15 is just too big, and too quiet ( yeah I said it) i have my shroud padded and i swear I shoot off a hopper and dont even realize it.

Not the right gun for the demographic. The vast majority of woodsball players play casually. They go out and play a few times a year, but aren't involved in the hobby beyond that. When I have seen players using them, they're always having issues because they expect it to be like a Tippmann and never have to maintain it.

I just picked up a basically new TM-7 and I have to admit the form factor is pretty nice. I’m used to cockers so it feels really short and compact. Seems like it would be fun to use.

I absolutely love my TM15. Tech t bolt and a low pressure spring allowed me to drop reg pressure and make it even softer and quieter. I played with her today at a woodsball field. If BT had made it mag fed also then it would be game over in my opinion. This thing has to be one of the most overlooked woodsball markers if you ask me.

I love most empire stuff, and I dont know why they cut it euther. The trracer, vanquish, Reloader B, the Reloader 2 (shell sucked, but in a revy it's awesome for pumps). All I heard on the tm7 was it kills batteries, but othe than that everyone I knew loved them and some still use them.

Could be something to the casual player thinking it's like a 98 or a5 in terms of maintenance? Perhaps it was over priced at the time?

Could be price, but really they weren’t bad. I picked mine up for $100 CAD (he still has one more!) and not a scratch on it. Would be a blast to play with a small air tank and a magfed adaptor. Really tempted to go back and buy the second one…. Already have a dual remote line….
