Did Empire stop making Cockers and Snipers?

Was looking for prices on new ones and it seems everyone is out of stock.

I believe so. ANS had a pre-order available for the acid wash green version of the Resurrection, but I don't see that anymore. I would guess that with Simon no longer at the company, there was nobody to really push for the platform. That's a shame, because a $400-600 entry level autococker is such a great way to introduce somebody to how fun these guns are to play with.

Indeed, too bad they discontinued the Sniper. It was a great mid-range option for a pump gun, and it became a very good shooter with a few simple upgrades. I regret selling mine.
        Playing the game since 1990

I was going to say that TradeMyGun still had some new Snipers in stock, but I just checked and that's a no. I bought a brand new Sniper from them a couple of months ago, and they had quite a few at the time. Guess not anymore.

I'm got the sniper for some pump and stock class games. Haven't gotten to use it much yet since their reg blew itself apart on the co2. In the process of putting a stabilizer on it instead. Well I did put it on but in order to use the pump assist grip (whatever it's called lol) I had to grind down some washers to act as a spacer inside the vertical adaptor otherwise the air input line was interfering with it cocking. Got the washers from a friend at a machine shop and of course my one length of macroline I cut too short so it leaks lol. Have another on order now and should be up and running in plenty of time for the slims spring stock class weekend.

I don’t think that empire reg was designed to run at CO2 pressure. Palmers should do the trick tho.

I was thinking either the pressure or the cold but either way when all else fails use a Stabilizer

My reg blew up too the first time i used a 12g co2 in stockclass. i think its the material the orings are made out of when its stock from the factory. i changed my orings on the reg to better ones and havent had a problem since.

Liking Vinton they come in a variety of sizes and density. They are not Permeable to co2 like standard black bunna.

Standard black bunna do work in lots of co2 applications they just swell under pressure. They eventually go back to standard size after the co2 leaches out of it. Probably not a durable over time but they work in most situations in a pinch.

For instance my Stock Class J6 uses standard orings and I bought a rebuild kit for that reg 10+ years ago because CCM says you can’t run C02 threw that reg. Haven’t had to rebuild it yet still on the 15+ year old orings it was factory built with. That marker is super consistent too on both HPA and Co2.

I've run mine on a agd 6pak for the last 4 or so years, I don't remember having any problems with the reg. Blew a few macro o rings but at least not that I remember, having any problems with the reg

I should note though that I also rebuilt mine when it first came in (bought used and do this as a matter of procedure) it's all buna 70d now

Harder compound bunna probably have a lot to do with that.

Sounds like 70d are the solution then.
