Mini GS tuning/aftermarket parts for efficiency

So I remember a number of years back there was a tuning guide either on old MCB, or on PBN. For whatever reason I can't find anything but garbage on PBN, and of course old MCB is gone.

My mini works pretty well, I get around 5 pods and a revvy off my 68/45. All my settings are stock, but I'd like to bump up my efficiency if possible. I know it'll likely worsen the shot, but that's no concern to me.

Is there any guides, or aftermarket parts that will help increase my efficiency?

You could reach out to Ross Jones (Boss Paintball) and see if he could help. He's kind of the Axe and Mini go to guy now. There's an Empire Axe group on FB where he is active. Or reach out to him through his store.

Honestly, I don't think there's going to be a big savings from anything. They're pretty efficient as it is. His bolts can help but I have always gone back to the stock bolt on any of the guns I had with his bolt installed. They seem to work for some people but the stock bolt is way more reliable.

Never seen a mech mini. If they had a single trigger mech version that would be pretty cool. I want to have at least one working electro though

The only things that I recommend doing to a Mini are:

If you can find it, a Virtue Board. Insane good eye logic and makes them shoot really well. Super hard to find at this point.

If it will do so, reduce your OP to 180, as you know NEVER go over 200. This often requires a bump to dwell of about +2. Probably hurts efficiency a bit. These come out of the box pretty well in that regard.

The Tech T "gold" (metal) bolt is really good. Use the stock spring. The aftermarket springs are pure garbage, don't waste your money.

Get a bore kit that you can match the paint. With these already being so LP having a good bore match is important for good velocity and efficiency numbers.

Beyond that, nothing else to really do.

Unfortunately it looks like the metal bolt is on backorder. I'll have to give it a try when it goes back in stock

there is the techt delrin bolt, but i've read mixed opinions on those, a lighter bolt might even be a bit rougher on paint in that system.

This method seems quite sensible: https://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=3761332

In my own experience the metal one is a better performer.

On my gen 1 mini, many years ago, I tried a couple different bolts and tuning for the smoothest shot. All created more issues than they were worth. Put the stock bolt back in and reset everything to the default settings. Then it worked well. But by that time the hate for electros was in me so I sold it.

Anti-barrel kit trolls will disagree, but having a tight paint-to-bore match will increase efficiency. It's just science. Might not be enough to be noticeable tho, maybe a pod at most, if the stars align.
