Will a CP Direct Mount ASA fit an Empire frame?

I was just wondering if the direct mount CP on/offs will fit on the Empire Res/Sniper frames. I wasn't sure if the T-slot would need an adapter or cause issues. Thanks!

it may if you get long enough screws but you will be bridging the t-slot channel with the screws.
You will have to remove the set screws for the stock asa and see if those threads line up for the cp

I was thinking this would be the approach, thanks for confirming. The set screws use a 3/32" allen and are about 0.75" on center but I don't have an ASA to reference. Hopefully someone who has tried it will chime in

If my memory is correct on this there's only 1 set screw so regardless of what it is you are doing some drilling and threading.

Back in college I made a shim plate to go in the T slot of my Etek and then drilled and threaded both the shim and frame together so the threads lined up and it all acted as one piece.

Worked great, never had any problems

There's 2-3/32" set screws (at least in the frame I have, which I believe is stock) spaced about 3/4" apart, no idea if this is standard thread size or spacing for ASA's. Might be a bit too much modification for me ...until I find another Ressy/Sniper that's a bit of a beater
