    sniper mods

    Hi

I have an old empire sniper without sc feedtube ans barrel. I'm not really in love with it, I prefer my cocker.

But I would mod my sniper. Who made or use mods? Not inception or aftermarket parts, but real mods.

    Thanks

Well, some kinda home mod to make the pump stroke feel better would be good. Maybe use a drill to bore out the original pump handle to the size of some brass tube that fits in it, then drill that brass tube to fit the stock guide rod? That might help and be doable with basic tools.

That was the main complaint I had with one is that it felt really bound up. Otherwise they seem like the best value in paintball.

I agree. They are ugly IMO but basically excellent. If I ever get one I probably wouldn’t change anything but the pump handle and maybe upgrade that sled thing a lot of people seem to break, but only if I broke it myself. I’m having a hard time inventing a reason to cut into one for real. They are highly evolved guns, after all. 30 years should be enough time to perfect something.

The Inception slider frame is the only one that would fit stock, you'd have to mill off the bosses on the bottom of the body to mount a standard frame.

I can’t really see the point of a slider frame on a pump. The trigger is basically an on off switch for me that enables autotrigger.
